Technology has made society the most connected it has ever been, but also the most disconnected. The internet has created a variety of methods and spaces for people to interact and is constantly connecting people from around the world. However, at times technology loses the importance and essence of face to face learning and contact. There are some things that can only be taught in real time situations with a physical presence (not just skype or facetime).   It is for that reason that I believe that technology must always be used efficiently, effectively, and properly to enhance the learning process. My desire to convey this importance is what drove me to create this site and to share my ideas!
